Dana Tai Soon Burgess & Co. performed Michio Ito solos and Images from the Embers at George Mason University on October 25, 2006. Pamela Squires of the Washington Post wrote of Embers: "This abstract dance piece about the trauma of war is spare and evocative. Movement is precise and uncluttered. It leaves room for rumination. Each moment is deliciously rife with implications."
